Jason Blomgren, President & CEO of Heartland Wealth Group (formally known as First Heartland Financial Group), has been a financial advisor for nearly three decades. Jason graduated from the University of Iowa in 1996 with a business degree in marketing. After college, he earned the credentials of Chartered Life Underwriter, Chartered Financial Consultant, and Certified Financial Planner®.
Jason has been recognized by several organizations as a top performing insurance and investment professional. He has qualified for the Million DollarRound Table* and has most recently been recognizedby Forbes magazine as Top Financial Security Professionals in 2024 issued in July ‘24 for the calendar year 2024.**

Jason is an Advisory Representative offering securities and advisory services through Osaic, FS. He has been a featured speaker at seminars throughout the Midwest and has appeared on television broadcasts sharing his experience in planning for all stages of life. Jason assists clients with professional investment management, financial planning, estate planning strategies, and long-term care planning. Jason strives to meet the needs of both individuals and businesses.
Jason grew up in Boone, Iowa, where he met his wife, Stacy. They have been together since ages 16 & 15. More than 30 years later, they have 5 children including 2 sets of twins: Meagan and Mackenzie, Jacob and Molly, and Macy.
Jason enjoys activities such as biking, golfing, hunting, and running. Jason is continually active in the community and is a past member of the Waukee YMCA board. He and his wife are also volunteer with the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Since 2007, he has completed 6 marathons (including the 2008 Boston Marathon). In July 2009, Jason earned the title of Ironman after completing the Ironman USA Competition in Lake Placid, NY. This event included a 2.4-mile swim, a 112-mile bike ride, and a 26.2-mile run.
As an avid baseball fan, Jason coached all 5 of his kids in baseball and softball as they were growing up. Together, Jason and his family have traveled to all 30 MLB stadiums and multiple World Series games. Jason has attended the World Series every year since 2013. Jason and his family love to travel. They have visited all 50 states and traveled to over 40 countries.
