Derek grew up on a farm near Exeter, NE and currently lives on his family farm in Fillmore County, NE. He graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a B.S. in Agri-Business. Derek has four daughters: Kayleigh, Kelsey, Kaitlyn and Kierstyn.
